eptember 8, 2014 – Muncie, IN – Pridemark Construction was selected to remodel the first floor branch of the First Merchants Bank headquarters in downtown Muncie. Pridemark will act as the general contractor and oversee the entire construction process, which includes five new offices and a large conference room. The project will be done in three phases so that the bank can remain operational during construction.
Keith Gary of US Architects designed the new layout of the first floor, which consists of a substantial amount of glass walls to help bring natural light to the center of the building. In addition to the new glass walls, the remodel scope will include fresh paint, updated flooring, a new teller line, and several architectural features on the walls. This project is set to begin in September and wrap up before the end of the year.
Pridemark Construction has enjoyed an ongoing relationship with First Merchants, having completed renovations on their McGalliard Branch in 2013, their Tillotson Branch in 2012 as well as the historical South Madison branch back in 2011.
