September 27, 2013, Muncie, IN – Pridemark Construction recently announced the completion of a remodel and design project for Union Chapel Church of Muncie, Indiana.
Due to an increase in attendance, Union Chapel was no longer able to use their formal sanctuary and adjacent lobby. They needed to update the space to match the appeal of their current church service space. Pridemark added a new video system that telecasts the services taking place in another building to be viewed in the sanctuary. The rooms received polished and stained concrete floors along with fresh paint on the walls and ceiling.
The lobby received new lounge furniture, a built in coffee bar, café tables, and a new information desk. The restrooms off the lobby also received fresh paint and new ceramic tile floors. Union Chapel Church was able to use the new sanctuary as an overflow space where they sat more than 200 visitors the first week after construction was completed.
“We are pleased to be a part of the renovation process for Union Chapel Church,” stated Pridemark Construction President Michael Tschuor. “We expect the updates and changes to better serve the church and congregation in many positive ways.”
